Certifications: ARRT(R)(CT), BLS

Must-Have: Must have WA Certification in hand, or have applied for it at least 30 days ago. Current issuing time is between 35 and 60 business days.

Description: The candidate must have 1 year of CT Technician experience. Demonstrated expertise in various CT procedures is required. Experience with 3D rendering techniques, including Maximum Intensity Projection and Volume Rendering, is essential. Proficiency in charting systems, specifically Epic, is preferred. The position will require routine procedures such as abdomen scans with and without contrast, chest scans with and without contrast, and emergency department imaging. The candidate should be familiar with starting peripheral IVs and radiation safety protocols. Availability to float within the facility and across the system is expected. Refusal to float when requested may result in cancellation of the contract. Weekend shifts are required every Friday and Saturday. The final schedule will include a mix of general and specialized radiology tasks. No local candidates will be accepted, as residency within 50 miles of the facility is prohibited. All requests for time off must be finalized prior to submission, with no time off allowed within the first week of employment. The candidate must not have any felony convictions and must be able to provide a traveler explanation statement if any background hits occur. Compliance documentation and course completion in required modules will be necessary before starting the assignment.
