Premier Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Far Rockaway is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our nursing team in a part-time role primarily covering weekend shifts . This position is ideal for nurses seeking supplemental income, work-life balance, or a consistent weekend schedule in a supportive and collaborative environment. What You'll Do
What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.
- Complete resident assessments and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions safely and accurately.
- Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Ensure compliance with all New York State Department of Health, CMS, and facility policies.
- Promote a safe, compassionate, and resident-centered environment.
- Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing.
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Reliable attendance and a commitment to providing exceptional resident care.
- Part-Time
- Weekend availability is required
- Primarily Saturday and Sunday shifts
- Additional weekday shifts may be available based on staffing needs
