Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, conducting physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to create and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide vital intraoperative support, including preparing the surgical environment, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirement

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Strong preference for completion of clinical rotations with emphasis on surgical settings

Certifications Needed

• Current, unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
