Fleet Mechanic

Job Description Job Description Job Title: Mechanic Location: Toledo, OH - onsite Employment: full-time Schedule: 7:00AM - 4:00PM, Monday - Friday Position Summary: The Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on company vehicles. This role focuses solely on hands-on mechanical work to ensure all vehicles are safe, reliable, and operating efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner. - Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on company vehicles. - Evaluate vehicles and recommend appropriate repair solutions. - Communicate work completed and parts needed with the Garage Manager. - Follow established procedures and safety guidelines. - Document repairs, parts used, and services completed on each vehicle. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent is required. - Must hold a valid ASE certification. - Must have a valid driver's license. - Previous experience as a mechanic is highly preferred. - Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques. - Strong attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
