Senior Electrical Engineer

About the Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will architect the systems that bring motion, connectivity, and intelligence to world-class connected fitness products. We are looking for a hands-on technical leader with experience in consumer hardware—such as fitness equipment, appliances, or automotive systems—who excels at guiding complex electromechanical products from concept to high-volume manufacturing. Partnering closely with Product, Mechanical, Firmware, and Industrial Design teams, you will define electrical architectures for power supplies, motor drives, sensors, and user interfaces, shaping the future of hardware engineering at Peloton.

Your Daily Impact

• End-to-End System Architecture & Innovation: Define core electrical systems to meet rigorous engineering specifications while continuously evaluating emerging electronics technologies to keep Peloton products at the competitive forefront.
• Lab Validation, Quality & Compliance: Conduct hands-on testing to validate performance, ensure regulatory and safety compliance (UL, CE, FCC), address EMC/emissions issues, and drive continuous field-quality improvements.
• NPI & Global Manufacturing: Partner directly with overseas vendors to optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM), support production ramp-up, and provide hands-on leadership through full product lifecycles.

You Bring To Peloton

• Core Experience: BS in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred) with 6+ years of hands-on EE product development experience in fitness, appliances, automotive, or related high-volume consumer hardware industries.
• NPI Leadership: At least 1 year serving as the lead EE taking a product from concept through market launch.
• Power, Motors & Lab Expertise: Strong background in AC mains-powered design, electric motors, and motor drives (optimizing cost, thermals, and acoustics), alongside expertise using lab equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
• Agility & Communication: Excellent cross-functional communication, adaptability across diverse electronics disciplines, and willingness to travel globally ~4 times per year.
• Bonus Points: Hands-on experience with digital circuit design, sensor integration, high-resolution touchscreens, or user interface hardware.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including, without limitation, experience and business objectives and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range

$139,800—$171,750 USD
