Commercial Loan Closing Specialist Job Type: W2 only Duration: 24 months Location: Charlotte, NC In Office: Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday Job Summary Participate in low‑to‑moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements within Commercial Loan Closing. Review and analyze basic or tactical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, related to low‑to‑medium risk deliverables. Present recommendations for resolving low‑to‑moderately complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing an understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Provide information to client personnel in Commercial Loan Closing. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities This contractor will support day‑to‑day operations for lending fulfillment as part of the document preparation team responsible for creating documentation that secures the lien the bank is taking on the property. Partner with front office bankers to document commercial real estate and non‑real estate doc packages. Collect information needed to complete due diligence, including insurance, flood, environmental, title work, appraisals, etc. Required Skills Strong understanding of Commercial Loan Documentation (able to identify deeds of trust, titles, appraisals, business lending confirmation letters, and state‑specific documents) Advanced Microsoft Word experience; ability to create and work with existing templates, encrypt documents, and send encrypted items First Mortgage loan documentation experience is strongly transferable; loan servicing experience will not work for this role Desired Skills Prior commercial lending documentation experience Strong communication skills to work with front office & portfolio teams Preferred familiarity with Simply Docs and LaserPro Required Qualifications 2+ years of Commercial Loan Closing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education. #J-18808-Ljbffr
