Role Description The Equipment Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Burlington, NC. This role is responsible for safely operating print finishing equipment and related machinery to complete laminating, embossing, foil stamping, and other finishing tasks according to job specifications. Day-to-day activities include setting up and adjusting equipment, monitoring machines during production, performing routine checks, and ensuring finished materials meet quality standards. The Equipment Operator will also assist with material handling, follow safety and maintenance procedures, and collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and minimize downtime. Accurate documentation of work performed and clear communication about equipment issues or workflow concerns are also part of this role. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong equipment operation skills, including experience with heavy equipment and forklift operation. Candidates should possess skills in equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting to keep machinery running efficiently and safely. Candidates should possess any relevant excavation or related equipment-handling experience that demonstrates safe and precise machine control. Ability to read and follow production orders, safety guidelines, and quality standards. Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment. Comfort with standing, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift, in line with safety practices. Prior experience in print finishing, manufacturing, or similar industrial settings is beneficial.
