Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Occupational Therapist Assistant (OT Assistant) position in a skilled nursing facility setting. The role involves providing rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The Occupational Therapist Assistant will support individual treatment plans, assess patient progress, and contribute to discharge planning, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice standards. Job Details: Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026 Required Qualifications: Active State Licensure/Registration; 1 year of Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) experience; Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation experience; COTA license; must be submitted at the posted rate, if requested rate is higher candidate will be redirected Preferred Qualifications: None specified Additional Information: Utilizes evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions. Administers various procedures such as ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices. Documents patient progress, adjusts treatments as needed, and communicates effectively with the healthcare team. Participates in meetings and training sessions, supports students under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist, and adheres to professional and ethical standards established by NBCOT / AOTA and state practice acts.
