Facilities Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Overview 2nd shift Operations Supervisor position is for the Facilities trade organization. This position is for the D501 Supervisor for Transfer Cars and MIP equipment which consists of Maintenance Machinists, and Electronics Mechanics. This will consist of developing and scheduling daily/weekly workloads using CMMS, completing work orders in a timely manner, maintaining safety (JHA) and training programs, conducting preventative maintenance program of submarine transfer cars and utilizing process improvement programs. Applicant will also be required to work with outside contractors and support other Facilities and Operations organizations to complete job tasks. Qualifications Experience : High School diploma or GED 5+ years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems/equipment Must meet one of the following: Minimum 1 year facilities maintenance trade experience at electric boat Minimum of 3 year facilities maintenanceexperience and leadership experience in a high-volume setting Minimum of 1 year EB experience and an Engineering degree in a related field Preferred Experience : EB or trade supervision is a plus 5+ years’ experience working in facility maintenance Basic electrical experience a plus technical certificate(s) Skills Basic computer experience and knowledge is required Physical Qualifications Climbing, Color Vision, Crawling, Heavy Lifting, Kneeling, Light Lifting, Medium Lifting, Pulling, Pushing, Reaching, Stooping, Twisting Environmental Attributes Acids or Alkalis, Cold, Dry, Dusty, Fumes, Hot, Inside, Noise, Oily, Outside, Wet #J-18808-Ljbffr General Dynamics Electric Boat
