Ongoing coverage at a busy Level II Trauma Center, a tertiary care teaching hospital in Orlando.

Rhino Medical is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in a state-of-the-art emergency department. Designed for physicians experienced in trauma, pediatrics, and emergency care, this role offers a comprehensive clinical scope within a well-supported teaching hospital environment.

• 404-bed tertiary care teaching hospital
• Affiliated with UCF College of Medicine
• No specified shift schedule; coverage flexible within hospital needs

Practice Environment
A regional referral and teaching hospital with dedicated trauma and pediatric treatment rooms, private patient rooms, and comprehensive specialties including stroke and STEMI/Heart Center. The ED supports efficient workflows and seamless transfer of admitted patients to inpatient services.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Emergency evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of trauma, pediatric, and non-trauma patients
• Transfer of admitted patients to inpatient services with proper handoff
• Collaboration with hospital staff, specialists, and ancillary teams

Requirements

• Active Florida medical license
• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM), or Family Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience and/or fellowship
• ATLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications
• Experience in trauma, pediatric emergency, or teaching hospital settings preferred
• Ability to work in a team-based, fast-paced environment
