Dental Receptionist Location: Waterloo, IA Pay: $21.00/hour Schedule: Monday & Wednesday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM | Tuesday & Thursday, 8:00 AM-2:00 PM Type: Part-Time Opportunity Position Overview Express Employment Professionals in Waterloo is seeking a Dental Receptionist to join a local dental office. This position will be responsible for creating a welcoming experience for patients while managing appointments, check-in and check-out, payments, and patient information. The ideal candidate will be friendly, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy front-office environment. Key Responsibilities: Greet patients and manage the check-in and check-out process Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments Maintain an accurate and efficient daily schedule Collect and process patient payments accurately Maintain and update patient and insurance information Answer phones and assist patients with questions Help minimize scheduling errors and keep appointments running smoothly Protect patient confidentiality and sensitive information Follow established office policies and procedures Provide friendly and professional customer service to patients and families Qualifications: Previous dental or healthcare front-office experience preferred Pediatric dental experience is a plus but not required Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Comfortable scheduling appointments and collecting payments Strong computer and data-entry skills Ability to learn dental practice management software Professional, friendly, and dependable Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy office environment Additional Information: Part-time, Monday-Thursday schedule No Fridays Ideal for someone who enjoys working with patients and providing excellent customer service Previous dental experience is preferred but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East
