Speech/Language Pathologist

Job Title

Services to be Performed :

• Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy evaluation and treatment services.
• Administer treatment that requires the advanced skills of a licensed clinician to address speech, language and swallowing impairments to include adults referred to speech therapy by the physician.
• The speech therapist will perform the following tasks: perform an evaluation; establish goals; plan speech therapy treatment programs.
• Determine the need for referral to a medical specialist, dentist or counselor.
• Evaluate speech, language and swallowing functions by administering the appropriate diagnostic tests. Interpret findings to medical professionals, consumers and appropriate consumer caregivers; ensure services are delivered in a safe and effective manner; complete documentation according to the state agency's guidelines and policies.

Scheduling: Up to 24 hours per week. Hours will be worked between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
