Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Hickory, North Carolina.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/12/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 4x10hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 12, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 2 years of experience and NC or compact RN licensure.Details\n \n Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a 355-bed acute care hospital\n Averages 5-15 cases per day\n 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM\n Every other weekend required\n Requirements\n \n Active NC or compact RN license\n Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school\n 2 years of experience required\n BLS certification required within 30 days of hire\n ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire\n ASLS certification preferred\n Additional Information\n \n Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments\n Documents patient care and monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team\n Assists patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation\n Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient transfer, discharge, and referral needs\n Provides patient and family education tailored to age, culture, condition, and circumstances\n Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients\n Facility includes specialty centers for brain, cancer, heart, lung, orthopedics, and a Level 3 NICU\n Must start orientation on one of the designated 2026 start dates\n Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate\n Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any Lifepoint facility within the last 12 months\n Cannot be employed elsewhere full time\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-756878.
