Description General given assignments for cases to work through Order an exam and look at the information on the application and what the total risk they are looking Experience looking at prescription history and reviewing medical records Screening medication data for life insurance applications Analyzing high risk medications and combinations of high risk medications Assessment of adverse health information relating to classification of risk Knowledge and identification of off‑label medication uses Screening life insurance applications for selection of standard and substandard risks Evaluating health information received with add‑ons and reinstatements Skills life underwriter, table rating, life insurance, swiss re, MIB, signing authority, life underwriting Additional Skills & Qualifications Experienced underwriter 3-5 years working in life underwriting assessment Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr.
