Your Next Big Career Move: Parts Counter Representative located in Indianapolis, IN. Shift: Monday - Friday 3:30pm - Midnight Shift Premium: Any work performed/hours worked Monday - Friday, 5:00 pm - 5:59 am and/or any hours worked on weekends (Saturday/Sunday) will be paid a shift differential of 15% of your base wage. What You’ll Do Day-to-Day (Essential Duties & Responsibilities): Greet and assist customers at the parts counter, providing friendly and knowledgeable service to create positive interactions while keeping customers informed about special orders and back ordered parts and handling returns if necessary. Accurately process parts orders, ensuring the correct parts are selected and available for customers while adhering to delivery timelines. Locate and secure parts from various vendors for shop jobs, demonstrating a proactive approach to honoring commitments and fulfilling customer orders. Provide technical assistance to customers, including assisting service technicians with acquiring parts. Utilize strong product knowledge to guide customers in selecting the right parts for their needs, ensuring a positive and satisfactory experience. Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive experiences for our customers. Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills) High School or equivalent Previous customer service experience 3 years of Automotive or truck parts related experience Understands and can identify common commodity parts Able to perform accurate cycle-counts Able to order and check-in parts orders Intermediate Computer skills Able to work independently Mindset: A curious mindset with an entrepreneurial "pioneering spirit," strong integrity, and a passion for continuous professional development.
