Job Duties: • Provide graduate-level lecture and curriculum to graduate PA students in the areas of pharmacology 1-2 times a week. • Assist the Program Director in the organization, administration, continuous and periodic review, planning, development, and general effectiveness of the PA program regarding pharmacology. • Develop, maintain, implement, evaluate, and ensure adequacy of the pharmacology course series to ensure compliance with the ARC-PA Standards. • Develop and implement assessments to evaluate student competency. • Evaluate student performance and competencies for pharmacology. • Provide student remediation in compliance with program expectations as needed in the area of pharmacology. • Provide and maintain a reliable schedule of office hours (2 hours a week) for student consultation. Requirements Required Qualifications: • Pharmacist (PharmD) or Doctorate of Pharmacology • At least three (3) years of clinical experience Preferred Qualifications: • Prior teaching experience in physician assistant education is preferred, but not required For full consideration please provide cover letter, CV and contact information for (3) references.
