EHS Specialist

We are looking for an EHS Specialist to support our manufacturing operations by helping maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient workplace. In this role, you’ll partner closely with site leadership and cross-functional teams to implement EHS programs, reduce risk, and promote a strong safety culture.What You’ll DoEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulationsSupport hazard assessments and help teams identify and reduce workplace risksDeliver and coordinate safety training (e.g., Lockout/Tagout, HAZCOM, Emergency Response, Fire Safety)Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actionsConduct routine inspections and support environmental programs (SWPPP, SPCC, air emissions, hazardous materials)Assist with sustainability initiatives focused on waste and energy reductionMaintain emergency response plans and participate in drillsPromote employee engagement and accountability around safety practicesKeep accurate records for EHS activities, OSHA logs, inspections, and trainingCollaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to integrate safety into daily workWhat We’re Looking ForAssociates degree in EHS, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field (or equivalent experience)1–3 years of EHS experience, preferably in a manufacturing settingKnowledge of OSHA and environmental regulationsExperience with hazard assessments, job safety analysis, or behavior-based safety programs is a plusStrong problem-solving and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Relevant certifications (or willingness to pursue): HAZWOPER, Confined Space, Lockout/Tagout, Train-the-TrainerAbility to access all work areas, including confined or hard-to-reach spacesWhy Join UsOpportunity to make a real impact on employee safety and site performanceCollaborative team environmentRoom for growth and professional development #J-18808-Ljbffr
