Job Title: Telecommunications Project Manager Job Type: Contract + Hybrid Location: Atlanta GA 30334 Job Duration: 10 Months + Extension Pay rate: $50.17/hr *Candidate MUST be local to Metro Atlanta* Job Description: The Telecommunications Solutions Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing enterprise telecommunications, network, voice, mobility, audiovisual, and infrastructure projects across DBHDD facilities. This role manages vendor coordination, technology modernization initiatives, implementation activities, and strategic infrastructure planning to ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions aligned with agency objectives. Key Responsibilities Telecommunications, network, infrastructure, and voice modernization projects. Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource requirements. Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations. Coordinate project activities across DBHDD facilities and stakeholders. Provide project status reporting to leadership. Infrastructure Modernization Develop and manage infrastructure upgrade roadmaps for: Voice Services (VoIP/HVS) Data Networks Wireless Infrastructure Fiber and Structured Cabling Public Address Systems HVAC Monitoring Systems Support implementation of emerging technologies and infrastructure enhancements. Telecommunications & Voice Services HVS/VoIP transformation initiatives. Coordinate site assessments, inventory reviews, equipment staging, deployment, and migration activities. Ensure successful transition from legacy voice platforms. Maintain partnerships with telecommunications carriers and technology vendors. Coordinate vendor deliverables and project commitments. Participate in technology evaluations and vendor selection processes. Monitor vendor performance and contractual obligations. Skill Required- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. PMP certification 5 years of project/program management experience.
