Overview Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Cashier who enjoys meeting new people and delivering exceptional customer service. The role is the face of the company, processing orders quickly and accurately while maintaining a friendly, fast‑paced environment. Overview Of Responsibilities Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card payments with care. Assist with stocking, facing, and dusting as needed. Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, product locations, and current events. Communicate effectively with the front‑end manager and Head Cashier. Keep checkout areas clean and orderly. Perform all other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1‑2 years of recent cashiering experience. Carry an outgoing, friendly demeanor and a positive attitude toward customers. Operate front‑end equipment, including register, calculator, and scanner. Be dependable and reliable, able to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Have good communication skills and be open to constructive feedback and teamwork. Be able to perform repetitive tasks, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized. Lift or carry product horizontally or vertically up to 30 lbs. from 36” to 24” for up to 3 feet, and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. for up to 4 feet. Have strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers, cash handling, and mathematical skills.
