Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist for a permanent role with an area healthcare client in Fresno, CA. The Radiologic Technologist will provide mobile X-ray and occasional EKG services to skilled nursing and other long-term care facilities. The clinician will perform portable radiographic exams using DR or CR equipment, ensure diagnostic image quality, maintain equipment and vehicle, and transmit imaging and documentation to interpreting physicians in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification required.
• State Radiologic Technologist license valid in CA. Limited licenses not accepted. Compact license not applicable.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred, with experience performing portable/ mobile X-ray exams preferred.
• Experience with portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
• Valid driver's license in good standing in the applicable state and reliable transportation for work-related travel.
• Ability to perform and transmit EKGs when required; prior EKG experience preferred.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including occasional lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50100 lbs and frequent patient transfers or equipment movement.
• COVID-19 vaccination booster required or ability to provide approved exemption documentation.

Position Details and Responsibilities:

• Schedule: Evenings. Typical shift: Friday through Tuesday PM shift (4:00 PM12:30 AM).
• Provide mobile X-ray services to skilled nursing and other healthcare facilities in the Fresno area.
• Perform and process X-rays using portable DR or CR systems and transmit images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
• Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent images across a variety of patient conditions, including immobile and elderly patients.
• Perform EKGs as required and transmit to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
• Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
• Maintain and care for portable X-ray equipment and assigned vehicle. Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
• Adhere to all state licensing, certification, health, and operational requirements.
• Position may require overtime based on caseloads, including weekend workload as needed.
