About the Position

  • Requirements: Candidates must have completed an Emergency Medicine Residency and be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Osteopathic Emergency Medicine or truly Board eligible. MUST be open to work nights/weekends. 
  • Schedule: Need coverage at both Altoona and Bedford. Altoona shift times vary 6a-4p, 8a-6p, 11a-9p, 1p-11p, 3p-1a, 5p-3a or 9p-7a. Bedford shift times are 12 hours 7a-7p, 7p-7a.

  • Open to IMLC candidates in addition to licensed in PA
  • No vent management 
  • Average annual volume: 45,000
  • Average volume per 24 hours: 137 
  • Will work alongside other Physicians and APPs
  • Will sign off on APPs 
  • Altoona (Average 51,000 patients per year with 70 hours of Physician Coverage and 24 hours APP coverage daily)
