We are seeking a Quality Analyst to support our Quality team in our Port Manatee facility. In this role, you will be playing a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with the ASME Pressure Vessel Code and project specific requirements, while supporting overall quality assurance efforts - from reviewing engineering drawings and requirements, to issuing and maintaining quality check sheets and providing final product documentation. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, attentive to detail, and eager to work in a technical environment. You will coordinate closely with Engineering, Production, and Customer/Authorized Inspectors to ensure that documentation, inspections, and records are properly developed, reviewed, and maintained through each project cycle. Key Responsibilities: Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements. Develop and revise procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations. Provide guidance and training to staff on new and revised procedures. Maintain documentation of procedures and ensure accessibility to relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with Engineering to align methods with design requirements and vice versa. Interact with Production to impact work processes positively and ensure a quality product. Work closely with Procurement and Receiving to maintain accurate logs and reporting of materials. Utilize Microsoft Access and Excel extensively for data analysis, creation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and providing visibility into current non-conforming products. Customize worksheets and database functionalities using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to enhance user experience and streamline processes. Test current products and identify deficiencies This a great career opportunity for a Quality Control Analyst to work in Honeywell's Environment, Safety, and Security (ESS) Unit Operations and Programs (UOP) in Port Manatee, FL. YOU MUST HAVE Some experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings Experience within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. WE VALUE Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global team environment. Experience compiling manufacturing data reports Continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive change. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) for customizing worksheets and database functionalities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with quality management systems and procedures.
