Program Management Support Specialist

We are seeking a Program Management Support Specialist to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Centers of Excellence (COE) Competition process. This individual will assist Program Managers and COE leadership in ensuring research and education workplans align with DHS requirements and homeland security mission priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Phases I and II of the COE Competition process.
• Assist Program Managers with program planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
• Review and track research and education workplans for compliance with requirements.
• Coordinate with COE leadership, researchers, educators, and government stakeholders.
• Support reporting, meeting facilitation, and program documentation.
• Compose professional responses and questions.

Required Qualifications

• Proven program management experience, preferably supporting federal programs.
• Familiarity with academic research and experience working with university programs.
• An awareness and understanding of the DHS mission, programs, and stakeholder environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
