Site EHS Manager

IQVIA seeks an experienced Site EHS Manager for a Durham, North Carolina laboratory facility. The role involves developing and maintaining environmental health and safety programs, managing compliance with ISO certifications, and serving as the site's Chemical Hygiene Officer and Biosafety Officer.
Responsibilities
- Assess site EHS programs for risks and compliance gaps
- Lead EHS governance, policy development, and safe work systems
- Serve as Chemical Hygiene Officer and Biosafety Officer; chair Institutional Biosafety Committee
- Coordinate audits, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance reporting
- Conduct training needs assessments and deliver EHS training to staff and management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in technical or safety-related field
- 3-5 years of relevant EHS experience
- Training or hands-on experience with biosafety in laboratory settings
- Working knowledge of regulatory agencies and compliance requirements
- Professional certification preferred (CSP, CIH, or equivalent)
- Expertise with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and relevant local EHS regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, and technical writing abilities
