36 hours per week; Days, Evenings, Nights; weekends, on call, and holidays as required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our long-term care unit. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to geriatric residents, overseeing a small team of LPNs and CNAs. Your primary responsibilities will include patient assessments, documentation, medication administration, and the implementation of individualized nursing care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and perform assessments.
• Document patient conditions accurately and timely.
• Implement and manage nursing care plans.
• Supervise and support LPN and CNA staff.
• Administer medications as per protocols.
• Ensure an excellent level of communication with patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active NYS RN License (New York State License ONLY)
• At least two (2) years of experience in a long-term care setting
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA ONLY)
