Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: PM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active RN license Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Must-Have: Previous experience in Labor & Delivery is preferred Description: The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit. The nurse will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, implementing care plans, and monitoring maternal and fetal well-being. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. The nurse will provide education and support to families during the labor and delivery process. The position requires a commitment to professional development and adherence to best practices in patient care. Candidates should be prepared to work a schedule of 4 shifts per week from 1 PM to 11:30 PM. This role is vital in ensuring safe and effective care during the labor and delivery experience.
