Position Overview

Aspire Senior Living is seeking an experienced, motivated, and relationship-driven Clinical Liaison to support our Southeast Missouri communities: Advance, East Prairie, Malden, & Poplar Bluff.

The Clinical Liaison plays a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, social workers, case managers, and other healthcare referral partners to facilitate appropriate patient admissions and seamless transitions of care.

This highly visible, field-based position is responsible for developing referral relationships, evaluating potential admissions, coordinating patient transitions, and promoting Aspire Senior Living's skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care services throughout the Southeast Missouri region.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated healthcare professional with strong clinical knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and experience in healthcare marketing, admissions, or business development.

This position requires regular travel throughout the assigned Southeast Missouri territory.

Skills & Abilities

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare referral processes, patient admissions, and transitions of care.

  • Ability to independently manage multiple healthcare relationships and referral opportunities.

  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and interpret clinical documentation.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical teams, facility leadership, and healthcare professionals.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience tracking referral activity and performance metrics.

  • Professional, dependable, self-motivated, and results-oriented.

  • Compassionate approach when interacting with patients, residents, families, and healthcare partners.

  • Ability to work independently while supporting regional and organizational goals.

  • Comfortable working in healthcare environments where exposure to infectious diseases, odors, and other clinical conditions may occur.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • 3–5 years of experience in healthcare sales, marketing, admissions, business development, or a related healthcare role.

  • Previous experience working in a healthcare environment required.

  • Experience in healthcare sales, marketing, or referral development strongly preferred.

  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Sub-Acute Rehabilitation, or Long-Term Care (LTC) experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience working with hospital discharge planners, case managers, physicians, and healthcare referral sources preferred.

  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, healthcare reimbursement, and admission processes.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

  • Regular travel throughout assigned communities and healthcare referral markets.
