IMCU Registered Nurse

Full Time / Sign on Bonus Offered / Relocation Assistance Available

MLR is seeking a skilled and dedicated IMCU Registered Nurse to join out client's esteemed team near Woodway, Texas!

Key Responsibilities for an IMCU Registered Nurse:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit, closely monitoring their condition and vital signs.
Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Educate patients and their families about care plans, procedures, and ongoing health management.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress in the hospital's electronic health records.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and discharge planning.
Stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care for intermediate care patients.

IMCU Registered Nurse Qualifications:

Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
Certification in CPR and BLS is required.
A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
NIH Stroke Scale is required.
Previous experience in an IMCU, ICU, or similar critical care setting is highly desirable.
