Job Title: Biotechnologist I

Location: Portsmouth, NH

As a Biotechnologist I at our Portsmouth site, you will support the production of therapeutic proteins that help improve the lives of patients around the world. You will work as part of a team to operate equipment, follow procedures, and ensure products are manufactured safely and to the highest quality standards. This role is based onsite , where working in person supports collaboration and the precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

This role follows a 12-hour day shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a rotating schedule of alternating days: two on, two off, three on, two off, two on, three off (repeating cycle).

What you will do

• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment, including CIP and SIP processes
• Execute manufacturing processes by following SOPs and good documentation practices
• Perform laboratory tasks such as pH testing, conductivity testing, and product sampling
• Move and transfer materials across production areas safely and accurately
• Maintain equipment and facilities through routine cleaning and sanitization
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and support documentation review
• Participate in shift handovers, meetings, and continuous improvement activities

What we are looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent required; AS or BS in a science-related field preferred
• Experience in manufacturing or regulated environments; GMP experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions using logic and critical thinking
• Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
