Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A new opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient services at a facility in the Los Angeles area. This role involves working full-time initially, with the possibility to transition into a PRN position after approximately one month. The ideal candidate will be local and possess strong skills in IV compounding and Pyxis filling.

Location: Los Angeles area, CA

Position Type: Contract, with full-time hours for about 4 weeks followed by a PRN status

Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating shifts with other technicians
• Shift options include 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM and 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
• Weekend coverage Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with inpatient pharmacy operations within a 117 licensed bed facility
• Perform IV compounding and fill medication dispensing devices such as Pyxis
• Support medication order entry using the Paragon/Allscripts system
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient and safe medication distribution

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license required
• Proficient in IV compounding and working with Pyxis systems
• Previous experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy settings preferred
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
