Laser Templating / CAD Technician
Job Type: Full-Time

About the Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laser Templating / CAD Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for performing precise field measurements using LT Laser Products and creating accurate CAD drawings in Alpha Cam for fabrication. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in both field and office environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site laser templating and field measurements for custom projects.
• Create and modify CAD drawings based on field measurements and project specifications.
• Review drawings for accuracy and completeness before production.
• Communicate with customers, project managers, and production staff to ensure project requirements are met.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.

• Troubleshoot measurement and design issues as they arise.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software preferred
• Experience with laser templating equipment preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in countertop, cabinetry or related industries.
• Knowledge of fabrication and installation processes.
• Previous field measurement experience.
