Job Title: Drug Manufacturing Technician

Location: Santa Rosa, CA (On-Site)
Employment Type: Part-Time | 3 Open Positions
Pay Rate: $15.00–$18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday & Tuesday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, with additional hours Wednesday–Friday as needed
Overtime: Time and a half for hours worked over 40 per week

Role Overview

BEPC Inc. is seeking 3 detail-oriented Laboratory Specimen Technicians to support our client's laboratory operations in Santa Rosa, CA.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in a laboratory, pharmaceutical, or healthcare environment.

In this role, you will assist with specimen preparation, sample processing, equipment maintenance, and accurate documentation while following established laboratory procedures, safety standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and prepare laboratory specimens for immunoassay testing.
• Perform aliquoting of urine specimens and other samples according to established procedures.
• Scan specimen bottles, verify labeling, and ensure accurate data entry and tracking.
• Assist licensed laboratory testing personnel with daily sample preparation and processing activities.
• Verify specimen identification and labeling to maintain sample accuracy and integrity.
• Accurately weigh raw materials and active ingredients and combine materials into blends as required.
• Support the proper operation, cleaning, and routine maintenance of laboratory and manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe laboratory work areas.
• Complete batch records, work orders, and other required documentation in accordance with cGMP standards.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) precisely and maintain accurate records with minimal errors.
• Complete required cGMP, safety, and job-specific training within established deadlines.
• Work independently and collaboratively to support daily laboratory operations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No previous laboratory experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures accurately.
• Ability to handle specimens carefully and maintain accurate records.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to complete required safety and cGMP training.
• Availability to work Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with flexibility for additional shifts Wednesday through Friday as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a laboratory, specimen processing, manufacturing, or healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with specimen handling, labeling, and sample preparation.
• Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) or laboratory safety procedures.
• Experience with data entry, barcode scanning, or laboratory documentation.
