A19-year-old female is looking for a mentor to help her explore her communityas well as improve her safety and independent living skills.Individualisveryquiet, shy,and struggles to express her needs and wants. She enjoys going to local parks, themalland movies.
The ideal candidate is creative and engaging,patientand a good communicator.Additionally, being able to build a trustingand positiverelationship with the individual andher mother.
This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services.

Hours and days of work:5hourswithpossible hoursbeing Tuesday or Friday from2:30p-5pm or Saturday from11a-4pm
Starting pay: Starting payfor Agency Supported CommunityHabiliationis$19.25/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work independently in the person’s home and/or community.
- Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills
- No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
- New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance isrequired; acceptable driving recordrequired.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
- Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
