Companion Caretaker / Animal Care Attendant — Part-time

PAY

Starting at $15/hour, based on experience.

SCHEDULE

Part-time. Availability MUST include weekends, holidays, and school breaks.

A clean suite. A patient walk. A meal prepared just as instructed. For the dogs and cats staying with us, those details are their day. As a part-time Companion Caretaker, you’ll help give our boarding guests the attention their families are counting on.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Feed, water, walk, and exercise canine and feline boarding guests according to their care instructions.

- Give pets attentive, compassionate care and communicate changes or concerns to the appropriate team member.

- Administer oral and topical medications as directed; training may include injectable medications.

- Clean and sanitize boarding suites, promptly remove pet waste, and keep guest spaces comfortable.

- Collect, wash, and distribute laundry and keep care supplies organized.

- Communicate clearly with teammates and help provide a welcoming experience for pets and their families.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with dogs and cats and a strong commitment to their well-being

- Clear communication, attention to detail, and reliable attendance

- Ability to follow care instructions and work independently while staying connected with the team

- Availability for weekend and holiday shifts including school breaks

- Ability to perform an active role involving extended standing and walking, bending, kneeling, outdoor work in varying weather, and lifting up to 50 pounds
