Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid School Psychologist license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Skills in cognitive, behavioral, and academic assessment
• Ability to consult with teachers, administrators, and families
• Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping abilities
• Commitment to cultural competence and inclusivity

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students referred for academic, social, or emotional concerns
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education and intervention plans as a team member in special education processes
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and outside agencies to promote positive student outcomes
• Provide crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, and mental health support as needed
• Participate in problem-solving meetings and make evidence-based recommendations to support student growth
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment
