With 32 potential non-school sessions available, you’ll play a crucial role in facilitating growth, bridging learning gaps, and fostering confidence in a comfortable and nurturing environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly in first grade
• Strong knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs
• Patience, creativity, and empathy in supporting diverse learning needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with families and other educational professionals
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Adaptable to home-based teaching settings

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to address IEP goals and tailor lessons to meet the individual needs of the student
• Engage the student using developmentally appropriate, multi-sensory teaching strategies
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment within the student’s home
• Track and document student progress, adjusting lesson plans as needed for optimal outcomes
• Communicate regularly with guardians and relevant school staff to coordinate support
• Ensure compliance with all relevant educational guidelines and best practices
