HealthPlus Staffing is excited to assist one of our esteemed clients in finding a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant for their outpatient primary care practice in Tulsa, OK. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about providing top-notch care to patients aged 65 and older.
- Job Title: Medical Assistant
- Location: Tulsa, OK
- Position: Outpatient Primary Care
- Specialization: Geriatrics
- Start Date: Flexible but ideally ASAP
- Compensation: Highly competitive base + full benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient intake, including vital signs
- Perform phlebotomy and other clinical procedures
- Handle appointment scheduling and patient records
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant certification preferred (RMA or CMA from accredited program)
- CPR Certification
- Prior experience as an MA
- IV Start Certification preferred
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Experience with older adult patients is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
