Job Description

This position involves working in a manufacturing facility focused on structural steel, components for the construction industry, and various other metal projects. You will be asked to assist with preparing parts for paint, masking and taping parts, material handling, spraying wet paint and primer coatings ,and touching up missed spots.

** We are willing to pay more for someone with strong commercial or industrial painting experience **

Responsibilities:

• Prepare projects for coatings by washing, taping, and masking surfaces
• Spray wet paint and primer on metal materials
• Inspect final coatings and complete touch-up painting as needed
• Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes to move material

Requirements:

• 1+ year painting experience preferred, but not required
• Experience spraying paint using HVLP, Airless or Air-Assisted sprayers preferred
• Commercial, Industrial, or Residential painting will be considered

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous material handling experience is a plus.
• Experience working with large industrial or structural components is beneficial.
• Ability to organize paint inventory and maintain accurate paperwork related to paint usage.
• Willingness to support shipping and related shop activities as needed.

This is a Permanent position based out of Appleton, WI.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Appleton,WI.
