FirstElement Fuel is continuously growing the refueling infrastructure and we believe hydrogen will change the world in a positive way.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: MANUFACTURING SUPERVISORThe Manufacturing Supervisor will be a working supervisor responsible for the assembly and testing of hydrogen cryo-pump and Hydrogen Refueling Station modules. Currently, this position will lead one employee initially and will be hands-on assembling units while our new manufacturing line ramps up----QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum 5 years of experience in the assembly of electro-mechanical, electro-pneumatical systems or equivalent experience in a medical device, aerospace, automotive, or other technical manufacturing environmentStrong technical abilities with a willingness to work hands onStrong leadership skills - prior leadership experience highly preferredAble to interpret and understand engineering drawings and follow assembly instructions and other company proceduresAbility to use basic computer applications including, but not limited to:MS WordMS ExcelERP systemsGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills; maintains orderly work cells; contributes to the professional presentation of the production areaMust be able to type using the keyboard of a computerMust be able to understand and communicate clearlyAble to interpret and understand engineering dMust be able to use various hand tools and manufacturing equipment including, but not limited to: torque wrenches, impact guns, tube bender, angle grinders, coning and threading machine, etc. Requirements: REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:Ensure ERP transitions completed correctly, and traceability is maintained at all timesDelegate tasks to direct reportsCoordinate with cross functional teams to ensure commitments are metPerforms moderately complex assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, a variety of hand tools, test equipment and assembly fixturesProduces and inspects assemblies to ensure conformance to product specificationsEnsures complete documentation of all assembly and test processes performedAbility to fully adhere to established Quality System and full understanding of Good Manufacturing PracticesTraining team membersMaintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with all established company policies, procedures and business ethics codesOther duties as assignedEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or GED, Associates degree preferredMinimum 5 years of experience in the assembly of electro-mechanical, electro-pneumatical systems or equivalent experience in a medical device, aerospace, or other technical manufacturing environmentWORKING CONDITIONS:The Manufacturing Supervisor usually works in a manufacturing environmentThe Manufacturing Supervisor works a standard work week but may be required to work some weekends and evenings to fulfill the dutiesThis position may require some travel (primarily in California)PHYSICSAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to type using the keyboard of a computerMust be able to talk, listen and speak clearlyMust be able to lift and carry up to 60lbsSCHEDULE + BENEFITS:Excellent benefits, to include full premium coverage for Medical, Dental and Vision, 401(k) Plan (with 6% company match), Personal Time Off (PTO), and committed work environmentThe base salary range for this full-time position is $91,520 - $121,160 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The salary range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work locations and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
