Human Resources Specialist at El Dorado County Office of Education Salary: Pay Range $5,282.64 - $6,874.74 Monthly. Add'l Salary Info Initial salary placement is on step 1 of the range. Benefits: $600/month toward medical, prorated for less than full time; no-cost dental, life insurance, EAP, long-term disability; $4.87/month vision; CalPERS retirement. Length of Work Year: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, 261 days per year, 12 months Employment Type: Full Time Mandatory Testing: Multiple choice test link will be sent after application deadline and will be due Tuesday, August 11, 2026 by 10:00 PM. Practicum: Practicums will be conducted on Zoom and are scheduled at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 14, 2026. Qualifying Appraisal Interview: The afternoon of Wednesday, August 19, 2026 Selection Interview: The afternoon of Monday, August 24, 2026. Job Purpose Statement: Under general supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, performs a variety of specialized technical and administrative duties in support of human resources operations for classified and certificated staff, including coordinating and supporting recruitment and selection activities, salary and benefits administration, and records management; and provides consultation and guidance to staff, applicants, and administrators on a variety of human resources matters.
