PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: All Ages Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 11–16 Patients per Day Admissions: Inpatient Collaboration as Needed Case Mix: Solid Tumors, Hematologic Malignancies, Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, and Oncology Supportive Therapies FACILITY INFORMATION Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital Hospital Size: 686 Beds EMR System: Epic Specialty Backup Available: Hematologist/Oncologists, Infusion Teams, Oncology Research Staff, Nurse Navigators, Social Workers, Dietitians, Palliative Care, Genetic Counseling, Radiology, and Laboratory Services Support Staff Available: Oncology Nurse Navigator, Clinic RNs, LPNs/CMAs, Infusion Nurses, Oncology Research Nurse, Financial Counselors, Behavioral Health, Rehabilitation Services, and Oncology Provider Coordinators COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered (if applicable) Orientation: 4 Hours (Non-Billable) REQUIRED PROCEDURES Outpatient Hematology and Oncology Patient Management Evaluation and Treatment of Solid Tumor and Hematologic Conditions Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Management Oncology Supportive Care Services Coordination of Multidisciplinary Cancer Care JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Minnesota License Required Board: Certified Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Provider (APP) DEA: As Required by Facility Certifications: As Required by Facility Experience: Hematology/Oncology Experience Preferred EMR Experience: Epic Preferred DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Manage patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies Provide outpatient oncology and hematology care Collaborate with hematologist/oncologists and multidisciplinary care teams Coordinate patient treatment plans and follow-up care Document all encounters accurately within Epic EMR Participate in inpatient collaboration as clinically indicated Support continuity of care through coordination with infusion, research, navigation, and support services Ensure compliance with facility policies and quality standards #J-18808-Ljbffr
