CVICU - Registered Nurse, Nights

ICU / CCU Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time Pay Range: $32–$42/hr+. Shifts: 12-hour nights, 7pm–7am. FT Sign on Bonus up to $10,000. Differential – Yes. On Call – Yes. Job Summary Registered Nurse in ICU/CCU providing high-acuity care, responsible for developing care plans, verifying orders, administering medication, interpreting diagnostic data, and collaborating with the healthcare team. Responsibilities Initiate and document a written plan of care within a specified timeframe. Perform patient interventions completely and proficiently, demonstrating age‑specific competency. Verify accuracy of orders during hospitalization, including medication reconciliation, test scheduling, and consent forms. Follow medication and IV therapy policies, monitoring patients and reporting interactions 100% of the time. Interpret diagnostic data and take appropriate action when indicated, such as notifying physicians of critical lab values per hospital protocol. Perform related duties as required. Required Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Previous clinical experience evaluated to determine acceptable experience. Valid Permanent Multi‑State RN License from the state of residence. If holding a Compact state license, must obtain a Multi‑State RN License within 30 days of hire. American Heart Association BLS CPR required, obtained within 7 days of hire. American Heart Association ACLS and NIHSS required within orientation period for ICU/CCU, SICU, and CVICU. Preferred Qualifications One year of telemetry experience.
