(Brighton, MI) Our LPNs are a part of our skilled nursing team that provides specialized care to patients in a variety of areas including orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology. Scheduling: 12 Hour Shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays Day Shift – 7:00 am – 7:00 pm – Part Time available Responsibilities: Perform a variety of treatments, including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis. Administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition. Provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well‑being of patients. Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Oversee the Nurse Aide team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations. Qualifications: A current license to practice as an LPN in Michigan – REQUIRED; current CPR-BLS certification. An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher. A high level of analytical abilities for preparing personalized care plans, implementing effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and developing solutions to difficult problems concerning well‑being.
