Counselor

The role of the Counselor is to counsel and provide related services which help students acquire skills in the social, personal, educational, and career areas that are necessary for living in a multi-cultural society. The counselor is to provide information through group guidance that contributes to the development of effective learning environments through students' advocacy and through consulting with others which are consistent with Board Policy and with statutes and standards of regulatory agencies. The counselor is responsible for contributing to the educational program as a whole and to the growth of each student.

Required:

• Master's Degree;
• Valid Texas Counselor's Certificate;
• Valid Texas Teacher's Certificate.
• Three (3) years teaching experience.
