Job Description The role of Retail Assistant Store Manager is to help the Retail Store Manager lead the retail sales team by forging connections with customers, communicating Vuori’s brand values through product knowledge and a positive outlook, and encouraging the team to maintain Vuori’s standards in retail sales and customer experiences. Responsibilities Works with the sales team to ensure each customer receives the best possible experience. Takes ownership of the sales floor and sales team to prioritize customer experience. Prepare fitting rooms, find sizes, and provide honest, knowledgeable feedback to customers regarding merchandise style and fit. Forge lasting relationships with customers by engaging about product details, new products, replenishment, and inviting them to upcoming events. Be knowledgeable on what’s new and what’s selling well and share with both the customer and team. Leads the team on day-to-day operations when the Store Manager is not in. Motivates the sales team and achieves sales goals in a team-based commission environment. Seek new product knowledge in the broader fashion landscape and active-wear to serve as an expert for the customer. Lead the team in completing projects while maintaining focus on customer experience. Communicate inventory needs to support business goals. Assist the Store Inventory Lead in processing shipments and inventory management. Maintain daily store operations, sales strategy, community and team management to ensure business runs smoothly. Maintain store cleanliness, restock product, manage visual merchandising and closing/opening procedures with attention to safety and punctuality. Encourage employees to give 100%, adhere to punctuality and role responsibilities. Complete weekly manual restock, cycle counts, shipments, and processing of online returns as needed; ensure merchandising standards on the floor. Lead community initiatives, representing Vuori with authenticity in-store, at events, and in team activities. Qualifications Available morning and/or evening; 8-hour shifts, 5 days/week, including at least one weekend day. Strong leadership, punctuality and attendance; ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues. Customer service expert who creates experiences, builds relationships, and handles customer concerns proactively. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and quickly learn new procedures. Strong organizational skills and follow-through; excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of ownership, accountability and initiative; eager to develop new skills and respond to feedback.
