Make history with us.Location: 200 Michael Angelo Way, Austin, TX 78728Pay: $18.55/hrHours: 1st Shift 6:00am -2:30pmLoads trucks according to load charts; processes receiving paperwork.Essential FunctionsLoad trucks accurately within prescribed timelines, as per load chartsMust be able to read load charts and bill of ladingCompletes paperwork timely and accurately, including Bill of Lading (BOL) Sales Orders and Pre-load Inspection formsPerforms product consolidations and BIN transfers, using forklift when requiredOperates stand-up forklift in safe manner; completes forklift inspections and check-sheets before using forkliftPerforms scheduled and impromptu inventory cycle countsFollows all Company rules, including, but not limited to: SOPs, GMPs, Safety, PPE, and all rules prescribed by the USDA and FDAPerforms other related duties and special assignments as required or assigned by SupervisorEssential Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesHigh School Diploma or GED requiredBasic math skills required; must be able to read, write, and speak EnglishRequires 6 months of material handling in a warehouse environment; previous inventory control experience desirable (SAP, etc)Must be able to drive a stand-up forklift and be certified as a forklift driverBilingual a plusPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentWill be required to work in freezer environment for long periods of timeMust be able to travel throughout Production areas and stand for long periods of timeMust be able to push, pull, and lift heavy loads (75 lbs.)Must be able to work flexible hours based upon needs of operationDocumentation and Procedures The following procedures will be performed:Safety Rules and GMPs in areaProduct Quality StandardsProduction Personal Protective Equipment.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $18.55/hr.Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
