Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.\n\nAs a SoC Design Engineer, you will be part of the Heterogeneous Integration Group (HIG), contributing to the design, development, and integration of next\u2011generation HBM SoC logic die. You will work closely with architecture, verification, physical design, firmware, and product teams to implement robust, high\u2011performance SoC solutions that meet ambitious power, performance, area, and schedule targets.\n\nThis is a hands-on technical role focused on RTL design, IP integration, debugging, and pre/post-silicon support.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Design and implement RTL for SoC\u2011level blocks and subsystems used in HBM logic die.\n * Integrate internal and third\u2011party IP (e.g., controllers, microcontrollers, NOC, RAS, MBIST, interfaces, adapters, buffers, PHY\u2011adjacent logic).\n * Collaborate with SoC architects to translate architectural and micro\u2011architectural specifications into high\u2011quality RTL implementations.\n * Participate in SoC\u2011level integration activities, including clocking, reset, power intent, and configuration infrastructure.\n * Support design verification through debug of simulation, emulation, and formal results; resolve functional, performance, and connectivity issues.\n * Work closely with physical design teams to address synthesis, timing, power, and floor planning considerations.\n * Assist with pre\u2011silicon validation and post\u2011silicon bring\u2011up, including root\u2011cause analysis of silicon issues.\n * Contribute to design documentation, block specifications, and design reviews.\n * Collaborate multi-functionally with Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration, and Manufacturing to ensure robust and manufacturable builds.\n * Continuously improve build quality, reusability, and development efficiency through established guidelines and automation.\n\n\n\nQualifications\n\n * Strong experience in digital SoC design and RTL development.\n * Proficiency in SystemVerilog/Verilog and familiarity with SoC integration methodologies.\n * Experience with the RTL\u2011to\u2011GDS flow, including synthesis, static timing analysis, and design sign\u2011off considerations.\n * Working knowledge of design verification concepts and debug workflows.\n * Experience integrating complex IP blocks into large SoCs.\n * Familiarity with EDA tools from Cadence, Synopsys, and/or Siemens.\n * Programming or scripting experience (e.g., Python, TCL, Perl, or shell scripting).\n * Ability to work effectively in a global, multi-functional engineering environment.\n * Strong analytical and problem\u2011solving skills with attention to detail.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * Experience with HBM, DRAM, or memory\u2011centric SoC designs.\n * Familiarity with high\u2011speed interfaces, clocking strategies, reset architectures, and power management concepts.\n * Exposure to DFT concepts (scan, MBIST, BIRA/BISR) and debug.\n * Experience with hardware emulation or acceleration platforms (e.g., Palladium, Veloce, Zebu).\n * Bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.\n * Minimum 10 years of experience in a related field.\n * Proven ability to mentor and develop engineers early in their careers.\n * Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.\n * Minimum 10 years of experience in a related field.\n * Proven ability to mentor and develop engineers at early career stages.\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nSystems Design Engineer 4 - Systems Design Engineering MTS\n\nRelocation Level: TBD\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
