Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice

Registered Nurse – Hospice

Schedule: 8 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly

Requirements:

• Must have a valid nursing license at the time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Experience in hospice care

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes or healthcare facilities.
• Conduct routine assessments and develop care plans in coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on illness management and end-of-life care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and communications.

Compliance / Notes:

• All requests for time off must be presented at the time of submission.
• Interviews may be scheduled by the staffing partner.
• Mileage will be reimbursed according to IRS guidelines.
• Travelers who have worked for the healthcare facility within the last six months are not eligible.
