Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Sacramento cluster team. In this role, you will support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist across South Land Park, Midtown Sacramento, and Citrus Heights.
• Assist with implementing treatment programs and accurately document patient progress.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized treatment areas in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a high-quality care experience.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, in-services, and team meetings.
• Support daily clinic operations and contribute to a collaborative, positive work culture.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (or equivalent).
• Current and valid State PTA license/registration/certification.
• CPR certification and commitment to ongoing education.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Ability to safely assist with lifting patients, moving equipment, and performing daily clinical duties.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Clear vision and hearing to ensure accurate documentation and safe patient care.
• Capability to push wheeled equipment and engage in sustained physical activity throughout shifts.
