Omosilk is seeking a passionate and creative PR & Marketing Outreach Intern to help amplify our brand voice and build meaningful connections with our community. In this role, you will support the development of campaigns, content, and outreach strategies that bring our mission to life. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves storytelling, is curious about brand‑building, and wants hands‑on experience in public relations, influencer outreach, and strategic marketing. Key Responsibilities Assist in the creation and execution of marketing outreach strategies. Conduct market research to identify trends, target demographics, and new opportunities. Craft compelling email campaigns, newsletters, press releases, blog posts, and media pitches. Build media lists and track outreach to journalists, bloggers, and media outlets. Identify partnership opportunities with student groups, influencers, and campus organizations. Monitor media coverage and compile PR performance reports. Support the planning and execution of public‑facing events and media opportunities. Research industry trends, competitors, and potential publicity opportunities. Qualifications Strong interest in PR, communications, marketing, and brand strategy. Familiarity with platforms like Canva, Klaviyo, TikTok, Instagram, and PR tools (Cision or Muck Rack a plus). Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling skills. Organized, proactive, detail‑oriented, and a creative thinker. Eager to learn, not afraid to contribute ideas, and take initiative. Passion for wellness, beauty, storytelling, and inclusive brands. Position Summary Role: PR & Marketing Outreach Intern Location: Los Angeles, CA Work Model: Hybrid Eligibility: Open to 18-24 years old ONLY Hours: 20 hours per week Duration: 160 hours LA County Subsidy Eligible Position Information Subsidy roles require students to have an LA County‑based address and be between the ages of 18-24 years old. Once placed in a subsidy‑eligible position, you will be required to present the following documents to be processed at a Youth Center (AJCC): Identification (School or State ID) Social Security Card (must be signed) Birth Certificate Proof of Los Angeles County Residency (e.g., Report Card, Transcripts, or mail under the applicant's name) Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination OR valid medical/religious exemption Work Permit (Required for youth ages 16-17 only) Payment: The Youth Center (AJCC) will pay for 160 completed hours. You will be required to submit timesheets to your Youth Center to be paid. NOTE: IF YOU WERE ALREADY PLACED IN A SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO QUALIFY FOR ANOTHER SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION UNTIL JULY 1ST.
